Wageningen University is the best institution in the Netherlands to do master studies, concludes the Dutch 'Keuzegids' magazine, which compared all master institutions in the Netherlands.

The editors of 'Keuzegids Masters' rated nineteen master courses of Wageningen University. Eighteen of those scored substantially better than the national average. It was the first time that 'Keuzegids' compared master studies. In the magazine's yearly overview of the best bachelor courses, Wageningen University has been rated the number one university of The Netherlands for five years in a row.

C2W Career Expo

On 24th March, Wageningen University will be present at the C2W Career Expo in Utrecht, a fair that focuses on chemistry, life sciences, food, pharma and process technology. If you are looking for a job, Master programme or internship, or just want to start connecting with employers, this fair can provide you with all the information you need.

To keep-up with what’s happening outside the Landscape thesis office I joined friends for lunch (one from China and another on ERASMUS exchange from Sweden) who are working on climate-change design for a local authority. Then, when global warming finally hit Wageningen (warm sun and NO snow), I went over to Droevendaal, where students who live in shared bungalows surrounded by vegetable gardens, chickens etc. had a green maintenance day at the weekend. I brought back some ideas for tackling the mess of brambles that is my mini test-site for permaculture techniques. Although, it’s not as ambitious as the friend at ‘Droef’ who designed and tested (on himself and housemates!) a marketable biogas toilet for his thesis…
